The Role

Working within our Property Services projects team, you will the ensure effective planning, design, documentation and delivery of approved and proposed capital works projects across the organisation.

You will project manage a variety of minor and major capital works projects, including developing initial concept designs and estimates for planned and future capital works projects. You will also ensure all procurement of works and services is undertaken to ensure best practice and value for money.

Current projects include heritage building upgrades and renewals at Eaglehawk Town Hall and Mechanics Institute, public amenity design and renewals at Cooinda Park and Garden Gully Reserve, Power supply upgrades at Strathfieldsaye and Eaglehawk transfer stations.

This role is part time, 4 days a week (0.8 FTE), with some flexibility on the days worked.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in the development, management and delivery of both minor and major capital works projects with excellent understanding and awareness of current building regulations, standards and practices and OH&S.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to gain cooperation and assistance from internal and external stakeholders is essential. You will also have strong time management, organisational and the ability to prioritise tasks with conflicting demands.

A satisfactory police records check and drivers licence is required for this position.
