$36.97 to $42.42 per hour (inclusive of 20% casual loading) + 13% superannuation.

About the role

This role contributes to the success of the City by supporting the Youth Programs Team in delivering a range of youth focussed creative, recreational and wellbeing activities primarily at the Youth Arts and Recreation Centre and where required, externally in the community.

Role accountabilities include:

  • Work under the direction of the Youth Programs Team Leader to establish and/or support programs and activities for young people during Open Access, with a focus on art, recreational and wellbeing programs. 
  • Identifying the needs and interests of young people accessing the centre and assisting in the development of programs and activities to address those needs and interests. 
  • Maintaining information as required including legal, daily reports, statistical information, financial, evaluation and monthly reports.

  • Completion of a Certificate Level Qualification in a relevant discipline (youth work, child protection, social work) or relevant experience.
