Library and Community Programs Officer

  • Salary: $85,864 - $91,188 per annum
  • Plus up to 14.5% superannuation (conditions apply)

An exciting opportunity is available for a highly organised and energetic individual to join the Library Programs and Events team, focussing on the School Connections portfolio.

If you’re passionate about making a valuable contribution and connection with local community through networking, program development and delivery, while working within a supportive team environment, this position could be right for you.

The City has three Library and Community Programs Officer positions, each has responsible for a variety of portfolios. The successful applicant for this position will initially be responsible for the School Connections portfolio, with programs such as Civic and Library tours, Adopt a Coastline/Bushland, Celebrate Joondalup art competition, Student Citizenship awards and Children’s Book Week.

To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record developing and delivering programs and managing competing priorities. You will be confident in presenting to school groups, able to develop and foster networks and partnerships, have experience developing program marketing briefs and experience managing website content and event bookings.
