About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to lead our Water & Wastewater Team. This pivotal role involves managing the operations and maintenance of Council’s water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, reticulation networks and service connections across the Murray River Council area.

As Supervisor, you will provide strong leadership to a skilled team, ensuring work is completed in line with Council policies, procedures, and relevant legislation including the Water Management Act 2000, the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 and WHS regulations. You’ll also coordinate contractors, contribute to regulatory reporting and help drive continuous improvement across our services.

What you need to be successful:

• Demonstrated experience in water and wastewater operations and maintenance
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements related to water and wastewater services
• Commitment to safety and environmental sustainability
• Ability to manage rosters and participate in on-call duties
• National Police Check
• Pre-employment Medical
• Relevant tickets, certifications, and qualifications as outlined in the position description
