The Opportunity

As a Pool Attendant, you’ll support the Team Leader by assisting with the supervision of the pools team, helping maintain high standards of pool safety, and ensuring every visitor enjoys a positive experience. Whether you're keeping watch on pool operations, educating patrons about safety, or delivering customer service, your contribution will help make our aquatic spaces a community favourite. As an emerging leader, your excellent communication and people skills will be key to representing Council in a professional, helpful, and solutions-focused way.

What you'll need to succeed (Essential Criteria)

  1. Royal Life Saving Society Australia Pool Lifeguard Certificate or possess statement of course completion and proven working experience within a Swimming Centre.
  2. Demonstrated ability in the use of POS, cash handling systems, and operating devices effectively, embracing digital solutions for aquatic facility activities to enable systems to facilitate day- to-day operations
  3. Ability to network effectively with key stakeholders in offering advice and support to delivering high level customer services
  4. Hold and maintain First Aid Certificate and Advances Resuscitation Certificate or equivalent
  5. Hold a valid Working with Children's Check
