Hourly Rate: $40.6314 including casual loading

Program Assistant to join our dynamic team and help
deliver engaging and inclusive recreation programs to
our vibrant community.
About the Role
As a Program Assistant, you’ll play a key role in
supporting the planning and delivery of high-quality
recreation programs for children and adults. Working
closely with the Leisure Duty Manager – Programs,
you’ll help create a welcoming, safe, and positive
environment where participants can learn, connect, and
have fun.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being
hands-on, thrives in a fast-paced setting, and is
committed to providing outstanding customer service.

What You’ll Do
• Support the delivery of engaging recreation
programs and special events
• Assist participants in developing skills and
confidence through fun, active sessions
• Set up and pack down equipment, ensuring all
spaces are clean and safe
• Communicate effectively with team members to
ensure smooth program delivery
• Maintain a professional, enthusiastic, and
customer-focused approach at all times
• Respond quickly and appropriately to incidents
and first aid needs
• Contribute to a strong health and safety culture
in line with City policies
