About the role:
The Team leader Arboriculture will be responsible for maintaining the City of Ballarat’s unique Urban Forest. The team leader will work closely and provide on ground support to Arboriculture team whilst planning for future growth of City’s Urban Forest.
Key Responsibility Areas
About You:
You'll have a minimum of 5 years' experience leading Arboriculture teams, a deep understanding of Arboriculture Minimum Industry Standards, and a Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ). Business management qualifications.
Local government experience is advantageous.
You will be proficient in tree identification, disease diagnosis, and plant function, with a strong focus on workplace health and safety.
You’ll have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to handle conflict with patience and professionalism.
You'll hold a current Victorian Drivers Licence.
