The Service Development Assistant is a part of the Seniors and Disability Services team within Cumberland City Council. The Seniors and Disability Team provides a range of quality direct services including information, carer support, home delivered and centre based meals, transport, activities, events and social groups to maintain overall wellbeing and independence. By providing a committed approach to person centred essential support, the team seeks to promote social inclusion, encourage an enhanced quality of life and increase capacity for seniors and people with disability to participate in the community.
The Service Development Assistant is responsible for undertaking administrative tasks which contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to Seniors and Disability Services team customers. It achieves this by ensuring staff in the Seniors and Disability Services team receive administrative and logistical support of a high standard. The role demands a high level of relationship building along with meticulous administrative skills in the areas of service delivery, promotion/ marketing, quality assurance, managing workloads, and organisational compliance.

Salary information: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
