The Opportunity

As a Project Manager you will be reporting to the Coordinator Project Management and be responsible for the delivery of critical projects focusing on water and wastewater infrastructure for Wingecarribee Shire Council, including some of the Council’s highest-profile projects. Projects can range from concept development through to construction and all aspects in between depending on the requirements of the project.

What you'll need to succeed (Essential Criteria)

  1. An experienced Project Manager with a relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, and/or Project Management with experience within the government or private sectors.
  2. Relevant practical and extensive experience in all aspects of project management and public infrastructure delivery within set budgets and timeframes, specifically in the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
  3. Experienced in the design and construction of complex infrastructure projects.
  4. Ability to work as part of a team and display a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
  5. Proven ability to manage and communicate (verbal and written) with internal and external workgroups to deliver projects.
  6. A high level of computer literacy
  7. Knowledge and experience in the preparation of reports, technical specifications, and contract documentation for civil works.
  8. A current WHS Construction White Card.
  9. Class C NSW Driver’s Licence.
