LIQUID TRADE WASTE OFFICER

Permanent Part-Time (21 hours per week)
The role:
Council is seeking a dedicated Liquid Trade Waste Officer to join our Water & Sewer team. This position is responsible for implementing and continually improving Council’s management of liquid trade waste, backflow prevention and water carting. This includes approvals, inspections, reviews and management of customer datasets within guidelines and legislation

What we need from you:
If you hold a Certificate III Trade Qualification in Plumbing or Certificate IV in Water Industry, then this opportunity is perfect for you! You will also need to have completed the Liquid Trade Waste Regulation qualification and have demonstrated knowledge of the installation and maintenance of liquid trade waste installations (separators, arrestors etc). Proven skill in interpreting the NSW Plumbing and Drainage Act, National Plumbing Code and related regulations and standards is essential, as is the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
