About the Opportunity

The objective of this role is to coordinate and supervise staff and contractors in the delivery of town maintenance and civil construction activities, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with Council’s approved plans and standards. This hands-on leadership position provides direction on-site to operational teams and ensures compliance with WHS and Council procedures.

What you need to be successful:

  • Certificate III in Civil Construction / Plant Operation or relevant experience in a supervisory capacity.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong understanding of safe work practices and WHS compliance.
  • Sound digital literacy and experience with reporting tools.
  • MR or HR drivers licence.
  • Relevant certifications including Traffic Control, First Aid and OHS Construction Induction Card.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call roster and respond to incidents promptly.
