CIVIL ENGINEER
Full-Time, Two year contract role with the opportunity for extension

The role:
Council is seeking highly motivated Civil Engineer to join the Infrastructure Works Team based in Merriwa. The Civil Engineer will support the Executive Manager - Works Delivery in delivering a wide range of civil engineering projects, including the management of Road Maintenance Council Contracts (RMCC) on behalf of Transport for NSW for the maintenance of state roads within the council’s area. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget, while maintaining compliance with environmental, work health and safety (WHS), and statutory requirements.

What we need from you: 
Our ideal candidate will hold a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with proven experience in road construction and/or maintenance. Experience in project management and contract administration will be highly regarded.
