Nextt is seeking a dedicated female Disability Support Worker in Wellington Point to join our team in a permanent part-time capacity, providing 2:1 personalised care for a wonderful client living with epileptic encephalopathy and profound intellectual disability.

About the Client: Our client is a non-verbal woman with complex needs, including frequent tonic-clonic seizures and significant language impairments. She responds best to support workers who are gentle, patient, dependable, and focused on creating a positive and engaging daily experience.
Your Responsibilities:
Personal care, showering, continence support, and transfers
Meal preparation
Supporting with meaningful, engaging activities that foster connection and wellbeing
Position Details:
Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time
Rostering: You must be available for all listed shifts across a 2-week rotating roster
Total Hours: 46.5 hours per fortnight
Rostered Shifts Week 1:
Monday: 2:30pm – 8:00pm
Tuesday: 2:30pm – 8:00pm
Thursday: 11:00pm – 9:00am (overnight)
Week 2:
Monday: 2:30pm – 8:00pm
Tuesday: 4:00pm – 11:00pm
Saturday: 4:00pm – 10:00pm
Sunday: 4:00pm – 11:00pm
Pay Rates:
Day Shift: $33.03/hr
Afternoon Shift (ends between 8pm–midnight, Mon–Fri): $37.16/hr
Active Night Shift (finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Mon–Fri): $37.98/hr
Saturday: $49.55/hr
Sunday: $66.06/hr
Public Holiday: $82.58/hr

Current Working with Children Check
Australian Driver’s Licence and Comprehensive Vehicle Insurance
Completion of the NDIS Orientation Module: Quality, Safety and You
Current First Aid & CPR certification
