Warren Shire Council is seeking an experienced, motivated and innovative leader to take on the role of Town Services Manager.
This is your opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team and make a real difference in how essential town services, infrastructure and community projects are delivered.
What you’ll be responsible for:
Construction, maintenance and town improvements
Water, stormwater and sewerage infrastructure
Major infrastructure and recreational projects
Staff, contractors, budgets, plant and resources
Business improvement, innovation and service efficiencies
Private works and revenue-generating opportunities
Operational planning and service delivery
We’re looking for someone with:
Civil Engineering qualifications and relevant professional membership, or extensive relevant industry experience
5+ years’ practical operational experience in town utilities or extensive industry experience
Excellent resource, budget and contractor management skills
A track record of improving processes, productivity and efficiency
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including Council reports and submissions
Knowledge of relevant Local Government, planning, WHS and road legislation
Extensive utilities maintenance experience
A current Open Class C Driver’s Licence
