At Kyogle Council, we don’t just maintain machines—we power a region. We’re looking for a skilled, hands-on Mechanic to join our frontline maintenance crew. If you take pride in your work, know your way around a workshop, and want a job that matters — this is it.
Service and repair a range of plant and fleet equipment
Keep the workshop running safely and efficiently
Report faults and maintain accurate records
Work as part of a tight, reliable team
Lead by example with safe work practices
Essential:
Trade-qualified MVRIC Mechanic
Strong experience with earthmoving, heavy & light vehicles
WHS Induction (White Card)
Solid communication and teamwork skills
Able to work independently and follow directions
Desirable:
HC licence, RMS AIS Certification, Forklift, First Aid, Confined Space tickets
Welding skills
Council plant operation experience
9-day fortnight – more time for life outside work
