Council’s Assets, Capital and Facilities unit sits within the City Services directorate and focuses on the beautification of the Cumberland LGA. Cumberland City Council owns five (5) and operates four (4) Aquatic and Leisure Centre facilities across the LGA which provide recreational services to our community.
In contributing to the overarching vision, the Aquatic Operations Supervisor is to assist the efficient and effective operation and management of the Aquatic Centres, including Aquatic programs, at Council by providing patrons and hirers with high-quality customer service and clean, safe, friendly and well-presented facilities. This is achieved by directing and leading a team of dedicated and committed employees and overseeing the daily operations of the Aquatic facilities such as active lifeguarding, supervision of lifeguard services, facility and pool plant operations and maintenance, cleaning, water quality and aquatic program supervision.
