Join our Water & Wastewater team and play an important role in delivering safe and reliable water and sewer services to the Guyra community. In this hands-on role, you'll operate, maintain and repair water and wastewater infrastructure, including treatment plants, pump stations and reticulation networks, helping to keep essential services running smoothly every day.

Working across a varied range of operational and maintenance activities, you'll monitor system performance, respond to issues and support the ongoing reliability of Council's water and wastewater assets.

The role also participates in an on-call roster, providing after-hours support when required.

About You

You're a hands-on operator who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems and being part of a team that delivers essential services to the community. You take pride in your work, have a strong commitment to safety and are willing to get in and help wherever needed.

With experience in water, wastewater or a related industry, you'll bring practical knowledge of maintaining and operating infrastructure and equipment. You'll hold a current MR Licence and be ready to contribute to the reliable delivery of water and wastewater services across the region
