The Role

Do you have technical skills and extensive experience in building design? Can you support project feasibility, design and delivery? Keen to contribute to community buildings?

You will project manage a range of community building related projects with an emphasis on feasibility, design and project planning.  You will also complete end to end project management activities of complex projects through to delivery including stakeholder engagement, contract management, ensuring the delivery of projects is on time, within budget and in line with Council Plan objectives. The ability to manage a number of moving parts in a dynamic environment is essential.

Current projects include Brennan Park Pool renewal and upgrade, Poppet Head structure renewal and compliance, Bendigo Stadium HVAC and Roof Renewal and Bendigo Library Getting of Gas HVAC project.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in managing building construction projects from inception with the demonstrated ability to interact, consult and collaborate with the community, management, staff and contractors.

Experience managing complex projects and the ability to adapt quickly to changing elements is essential. Strong financial management skills, with proven knowledge of budget control, accounting and financial procedures relating to building projects is essential for this role.

A satisfactory police records check and Victorian Drivers Licence are required for this position.
