We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Project Manager – Major Projects to join our team!
What You Will Do:
As the Principal Project Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the Major Projects branch, overseeing end-to-end delivery of significant capital works projects and programs. Reporting to the Executive Manager – Major Projects, you will be responsible for leading multidisciplinary project teams, managing contractors and consultants, and ensuring the successful delivery of transformative projects—on time, within scope, and on budget.
What We Are Looking For:
Bachelor of Engineering or other relevant qualification.
Extensive engineering, project and contract management experience in a medium to large multi-disciplined organisation.
Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary project teams to achieve project & corporate objectives.
Working knowledge and understanding of relevant Standards and Legislation.
Working knowledge and understanding of project management frameworks, such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, and other industry standards.
Demonstrated Information Technology, verbal, written communication and negotiation skills that establish and maintains effective working relationships with staff, customers and stakeholders.
A demonstrated leadership style that motivates and inspires team members, colleagues and customers.
