We’re kicking off an exciting new support journey and we’re looking for the right mate to come along for the ride… literally at Winchelsea, VIC.
Meet our participant: A 52-year-old bloke living with an Acquired Brain Injury. He’s a down-to-earth guy with a passion for mountain biking, a serious collection of bikes, and a deep love for the great outdoors and fishing. Based in Winchelsea, he's eager to get back out on the trails, and you could be the one to help make that happen.
The Role: We’re on the hunt for a
MALE Disability Support Worker who’s not afraid to get a little muddy, hold a good conversation, and share a few laughs on the trail.
You’ll Be:
- Chatty, relatable, and easy going
- Fit, active, and confident riding a mountain bike
- Motivating, upbeat, and action-ready
- Comfortable offering light personal support (getting shoes on, a bit of prep)
- Organised enough to help set things up for a great day out
The Shift: Thursdays, 10:00am–2:00pm (Weekly)
Start the day checking in at home, helping him gear up, then head off into the bush, down a trail, or wherever the day takes you. Some rides might be challenging, others more laid-back – either way, it’s about being present, engaged, and part of the adventure.

Your Certificates and Licences - NDIS workers screening check
- Working with children check
- First aid and CPR certificate
- Certificate III or IV in individual support, disability or equivalent
- Australian drivers license and your own fully insured vehicle
Pay Rates SCHADS Award B2.1 Casual Rates (Includes casual loading):
- Base hourly rate: $41.76
- Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $45.94
- Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $46.77
- Saturday: $58.47
- Sunday: $75.17
- Public holiday: $91.88
