About the role:
Council is seeking an application from an enthusiastic and suitably qualified person to join our team as Civil Maintenance Worker.
This hands-on role is essential to maintaining the safety, functionality and presentation of our Councils infrastructure. You will be part of a team that takes pride in keeping Council’s roads, footpaths, and public assets in top condition.
The position is permanent and in a full-time capacity, the successful applicant will work a 9-day
fortnight based in the Loddon Plains team in the northern end of the Shire.
About you:
The successful candidate will have:
· experience working in a road maintenance and construction setting
· current Victorian driver’s licence with a Heavy Rigid (HR) endorsement
· Ability to work productively in a team environment
The ability to undertake maintenance and construction duties associated with Council’s road network a current Victorian Drivers Licence with a heavy rigid (HR) endorsement is required for this position.
